Overview

Ample Joy Aba Consulting Services, LLC is seeking a full time Registered Behavior Analyst (RBT) to work in our company. The RBT will work one-on-one with clients in homes, schools, community, and other natural settings. They will provide high quality ABA services/treatment to children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related disorders, as prescribed in the treatment program.

Clinical Overview

  • Provide direct 1:1 behavior therapy to children with Autism in a variety of settings
  • Collect, record, and summarize data on client behavior using tablet software
  • Follow prescribed interventions as outlined by supervising staff
  • Assist with parent and caregiver training on client’s individual goals
  • Effectively communicate with parents regarding case dynamics
  • Maintain client confidentiality and high level of professionalism in all settings
  • Maintain records, materials and instructional tools in the home and center-based setting in an organized fashion

Requirements

Driver’s license and your own personal means of transportation
Pass a TB Test and Criminal Background Check
RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) credential required (we offer free RBT certification training, if needed)
Valid CPR and First Aid Certification
Must be willing to travel to assigned work sites (20-30 minutes from home)

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year experience working with behaviorally challenged children with autism or other developmentally delaying disorders is required as an RBT

Compensation & Benefits

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field
  • BCBA certification – must be current
  • Valid CPR and First Aid Certification
  • Current and valid license to practice in California
  • No sanctions or disciplinary actions on license and/or certification

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years’ experience as a practicing BCBA treating children with autism, and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Supervisory role
  • Possess thorough knowledge and understanding of ABA principles and applications, and funding as applied in the state of California
  • Experience building new clinical models is a plus
  • A willingness to develop new clinical models
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including good command of the English language, customer service skills, thoroughness, and organization and problem-solving skills
  • Strong presentation skills, people person, initiative and results driven
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Highly effective team leadership skills
  • A track record of constant growth and a desire to seek out feedback to improve
